Hi. I am andrew and I am the owner and creator of ECO4 Connect. Here is a little bit about my journey. Starting as a plumbing apprentice in my Fathers company in 1986, aged 16 as a labourer and plumber. Achieving city and guilds in plumbing and gas qualifications, i started my own general building company in 1993 ages 23. Learning about domestic building construction, regulations and controlled services. Providing condition reports to win contracts for domestic building maintenance and renovations. Became a regional Field manager in 2003 for a national company responsible for 360 sub contractors and 21 PAYE engineers reporting direct to me, while providing technical support and complaint resolution. In 2006 I became a trainer, NVQ assessor, teaching controlled services, building surveying and energy assessments. In 2008 I formed a building maintenance and renovation company, gaining membership to the Association of building engineers, increasing my technical knowledge and understanding compliance, standards, H&S, risk management. In June 2021 I became a Retrofit Coordinator while also helping my Fathers business with H&S and compliance documentation. I now own ECO4Gurus Ltd providing Retrofit Coordination services.
